A group of us from Omsk, Russia, spend summers in Mongolia, teaching children about Jesus.
This is our 6th trip to Mongolia. Twenty people from our team leave Siberian cities, Omsk and Novosibirsk to participate in sharing the Gospel to the Mongolian people.
The biggest blessing to us was the acceptance and openness of the Mongolian authorities towards us and our faith, even though their religion is Buddhism. Their willingness to keep working with us was amazing and they allowed us to host children’s’ camps in perfect places. Parallel to our ministry with the children, we also part take in helping the local poor families of Mongolia. We help them buy groceries and also help by supporting them emotionally, spiritually and physically. We have seen the tears of the believers as well as the non-believers, thanking us and God as we brought them food.
Besides the green, bitter tea and croutons made of water and flour, they had nothing else to offer us, as we came into their Yurts. We remembered the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35, “when I was hungry you fed me, when I was thirsty you gave me water”. We are very thankful to those whose heart is open to this ministry. We believe that God is growing a special generation in Mongolia, one that will honor and know the Living God.
